Trials announcement

We are holding our trials for new members to join the club on Saturday 28 January 2012 at St Paul's Boys swimming pool, 11:15am for registration.  Please contact our membership secretary to register no later than Tuesday 24 January 2012 via membership-enquiries@stpaulsbarnessc.com.  Please see our squad criteria page for more information on what standard of swimming we expect.

Fee guidance For Prospective Members

• The monthly fee for Pre-Team and Parent's Group will be £25;
• The monthly fee for Academy and Junior Academy will be £40;
• The monthly fee for Competitive Development squad will be £45;
• The monthly fee for County, Regional and Seniors/Masters squads will be £50;
• The discount for 3 or more per members per family will be £10 for the third and each additional member
• University students with student ID cards are eligible to pay only £30 per month;
• For non permanent members we will charge “holiday” sessions at £30 for Christmas and Easter and £60 for the Summer;
• The Club intends to pay for SOME competition entry fees for:
  • Age group swimmers:  Nationals and all relays
  • Seniors/Masters:  Internationals and Nationals and all relays
  • Once entered for a competition, any swimmer who does not have a valid reason for not participating in the meet will be asked to repay entry fees to the club.
• Students at St Paul's Boys School, St Paul's Girls School and Colet Court are entitled to a 25% discount on fees. 

Joining Fee

There is a joining fee of £50 which comprises of £25 ASA registartion fee and £25 club joining fee.

Masters (& Parents?) Sunday Morning Practice Sessions

The Sunday morning from 10.30am to 12.30pm and Wednesday Evening 8pm to 9.30pm Masters sessions  will be “open sessions” where invited swimmers can pay £5 at the door to swim. This is only on invitation basis and arranged with coaches. Swimmers should be capable of swimming a minimum of 2,000m in an hour and a half. In addition to friends of the Masters squad, we hope to see a good number of parents join in the fun!
